Categorical Acceptance Challenge (2007) by Trekwoman
Categorical Acceptance Challenge (2007) by Trekwoman (signed up 11/20/06)
Currently we have forty one options from which to choose when registering our books here on Bookcrossing. For this challenge, you will register, READ and release at least one book for each of those categories.
Start Date: January 1st, 2007
End Date: September 29th, 2007
Fine print:
- Books may not be those already registered on your shelf. Yes, that means you'll need to go out and hit those thrift stores, charity shops, garage sales, library sack sales, boot sales, raid your friends' closets, gift cards to Borders, whatever you need to do to pick up some "new" material. Ach, you know you were going to do it anyway, so now you've an excellent excuse to do so. :: whistles innocently, tosses four books into basket: :
- Caveat: You may use a book registered by another member but obtained only after the challenge has begun. If you have unregistered books on *your personal pile* of books, wait and register them after the 1st and then they'll count.
- Caveat #2: I realize that not everyone uses the following categories: audiobooks, audiodownloads, computers and internet, e-books, journals. These (and only these) may be used as substitution categories. Example: substitution of one Sci-fi book for the Journal category is acceptable. Make a note of this in your journal entry and your post here.
Caveat #3: For the foreign language category, you may use books that were originally written in a different language and then translated into your own.
